Automation Engineer / E&I Engineer

Qualifications:

• BS Engineering degree or equivalent experience in industrial automation.
• 2 – 5 yrs experience in the Biotech industry
• General programming experience

• Effective communication, organization, and planning skills
• Comfortable collaborating with various teams – process engineering; validation; quality.
• Must have significant experience writing code, building infrastructure, troubleshooting code, and doing the hands-on programming/coding work for DeltaV.
• knowledge in programming/configuring PLC’s (Rockwell, Siemens, and GE), drives (Rockwell, Siemens, GE, others), and or HMI packages.
• Knowledge in Electrical and Instrument Equipment.

Primary Duties:

• Receive assignments from project management/technical lead.
• Report on status and communicate technical issues.
• Develop technical documentation and specifications
• Write PLC and HMI application software.
• Configure AC / DC drive equipment.
• Develop system test plan documents, simulation code, and perform system testing.
• Participate in commissioning of systems in the field, along with field engineers, project management, technical leads, and/or end customers.
• Design, configure and support DeltaV software for small to medium process improvements and tech transfer configurations.
• Troubleshoot DeltaV Software and Hardware.
• Collaboration/Communication with multiple groups and stakeholders regarding project/product design, project planning and troubleshooting.
• Ownership of automation change control process and validation packages..

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
