At SNAP, our claims department works collectively to provide excellent service throughout the claims process. Join our energetic team of Claims Adjusters who work together to handle claims with the support of Claim Office Assistants. SNAP is seeking an energetic candidate that:

• Wields exceptional oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret policy coverage to determine whether the claim is payable under the policy
• Correspond with insureds, claimants, medical specialists, agents, and witnesses to compile information
• Take accurate and detailed statements from all involved parties
• Calculate and approve payment of claims within a certain monetary limit
• Negotiate and settle property losses with little oversight
• Identify recovery and subrogation potential and handle according to company procedural guidelines
• Coordinate with legal counsel in handling cases correctly

Qualifications:

• Have and maintain a Property & Casualty Adjuster License issued by the Texas Department of Insurance
• Experience in handling both Bodily Injury and Property Damage claims
• High school Diploma or GED, College degree is a plus
• Bilingual is a plus, but not required
• Strong negotiation skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Strong ability to juggle many tasks while keeping organized

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
