Job description
This is a Site Based Position whose primary purpose is to help build curriculum, collect data and observations as well as assist the Behavioral Consultant with completion of treatment plan, biopyschosocial, FBA and additional documentation necessary to maintain a growing program. The Assistant Behavior Consultant (ABC) for Community Programs and FCCP receives extra supervision, training and oversight in order to serves as the primary therapist on the Treatment Team, coordinating all treatment services for each client on his/her caseload. The Assistant Behavior Consultant is responsible for clinically supervising the Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) and/or Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) assigned to his/her cases. Supervision and training will be provided to the Asst. BC in accordance with Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) Regulations.
Qualifications:
Must possess current BSL.
Meet one of the following: Have met all qualifications for the Behavior Specialist License except the required experience. Have a certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) or other accredited undergraduate-level certification in Behavior Analysis Have a minimum of 6 months of experience in providing ABA services and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 12 credits in ABA from an accredited college/university.
Prior experience working with individuals with autism strongly preferred.
Must possess personal computer knowledge and skills, including graphing and data representation.
