The Animal Hospital at Brier Creek (AHBC) is seeking an amazing Associate
Veterinarian to join the family! FT of PT hours will be considered. AHBC is a busy, single doctor companion animal practice, looking to expand and build on a positive, and motivated culture of exceptional medical care, client service, and client education.

Our hospital offers IDEXX in-house laboratory equipment, digital radiography,
Ultrasound, dental x-ray, using Cornerstone PMS.

No after-hours emergencies or on-call hours

30–40-minute appointment blocks to allow time to tailor each appointment specific to the needs of the client and patient without feeling rushed out the door.

Flexible hours and shifts available as we will be expanding and opening 6 days a week!

  • Class 4 Therapeutic Laser Therapy
  • Feline Friendly/Free Fear Practices

We are looking to expand and provide:

  • Acupuncture
  • Herbal Medicine

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and a valid North Carolina license to practice veterinary medicine are required

Provide thorough physical exams of all body systems, on all pets examined

Be able to communicate with all different types of clients and always remain professional

Enter all medical notes and records into Practice Management Software in a timely manner

Prescribe medications, treatments and appropriate follow up care

Must be personable, able to communicate with and direct staff, and work as a member of a team

Must have the desire to provide the best possible medical, surgical and dental care for all patients

Desire to develop professionally and continue learning

Experience preferred but new graduates seeking mentorship are encouraged to apply!
