Job description
Aledade Care Solutions (ACS) is a new business providing innovative patient care programs as an extension of their primary care physician’s practice. As an Associate Technical Product Manager you will be a key member of the team that designs technical, service and content solutions to support Aledade’s various lines of business. The Associate Technical Product Manager works alongside product team members, business owners, data analysts, designers and engineers to develop and refine requirements, project goals, solution scope, implementation approach, and rollout plans.
Product team members are the interface between business strategy and technology development, ensuring the creation of high-quality products that can scale effectively. At ACS, you will be working on an ecosystem of applications, sophisticated analytics, and a robust set of APIs to enable primary care practices, ACS clinicians and outreach teams, and external partners to deliver innovative clinical programs that improve the health and wellbeing of our patients.
As an Associate Product Manager, you’ll report to and be mentored by a Senior Product Manager at Aledade. You will be hands-on building innovative technology while you develop your skills as a product manager. If you’re a data-savvy person with a healthcare technology background, and you’re looking to break into a product management career, this is the role for you.

Your responsibilities:

  • Work with internal teams, end users, and data to develop a deep understanding of requirements, perform thoughtful solution design, use data to test hypotheses, and support teams throughout execution.
  • Write detailed user stories for new projects, capturing detailed descriptions of business rationale, requirements, and success criteria that are defined by measurable outcomes.
  • Participate and/or lead daily stand ups, backlog grooming, demo days, sprint retros and stakeholder coordination meetings.
  • Manage and refine short- and long-term roadmaps that deliver maximum value with minimum risk and assume ongoing iteration.
  • Support and create processes to improve the overall quality of the product
  • Review support issues related to projects and monitor utilization and expected outcomes.
  • Write documentation for technical and non-technical audiences to improve the understanding and utilization of the product
  • Contribute to the vision and strategic goals of ACS and Aledade
  • Solve big healthcare problems

What We Value:

  • 3+ years of analytical or tech-oriented professional experience at a healthcare, tech-enabled service, or SaaS product company.
  • Strong analytical skills, with focus on using data to understand complex problems. Preferably experience with healthcare administrative and/or clinical data.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, ideally with PostgreSQL experience.
  • Strong communication skills with an emphasis on problem-solving and coordinating tasks within a cross-functional team
  • Some foundational understanding of the software development methodologies. Preferably experience with Agile / Scrum teams, IT projects or analytics creation.
  • Experience working with business applications and workflows, either as a power user or administrator. Preferably experience with healthcare technology stacks, including clinical, revenue cycle, analytics, population health, and/or call center applications.
  • Ability to collaborate and work well within a remote team
All prospective hires will be required to demonstrate that they have been fully vaccinated, including booster shots, against COVID-19 with a COVID-19 vaccine for which the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has issued a license or an Emergency Use Authorization prior to mutually-agreed upon start date at Aledade, unless they qualify for a medical or religious accommodation to this vaccination requirement.
