Under the direction of senior product management, the Associate Marketing Manager will develop, implement and manage marketing plans, promotions and other marketing/sales strategies developed for the market segments. We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and hard-working professional with a solid education or background in Marketing and/or Product Management and a desire to work for a fast-paced, large corporate organization. In addition to exceptional leadership and analytical skills, you must have a “roll-up your sleeves” attitude.


The challenging responsibilities of the position include:

  • Assist with developing and implementing promo planning tactics against milestones established, work with the product divisions, sales and creative team to achieve a successful promo.
  • Work with product divisions to develop solutions and supporting marketing plans to address identified needs.
  • Understand and analyze the competitive marketplace and develop strategies to effectively compete for increased sales and profitability.
  • Act as the liaison between product divisions and creative development team to ensure development of effective selling tools as well as prioritization of needs across divisions.
  • Update and improve Medline.com catalog pages for product sales, as well as, designing new business landing pages aligning with division’s mission.
  • Assist with marketing tactics and partnership projects.
  • Maintain supplier-marketing calendar and manage active promotions to ensure Medline is meeting distributor duties. Survey reps on select topics such as best practices, promo, marketing collateral.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Finance, or related major required with a minimum 3.0 GPA preferred, senior standing
  • Previous experience working in a marketing environment
  • Excellent organizational, planning, communication and follow-up skills
  • Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
  • Experience with project management (for example: planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives).
  • Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions
  • Experience understanding customer needs/priorities and skills to use that insight to develop innovative and effective marketing programs that generate sales.
  • Experience communicating technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Willing to travel up to 25% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
  • Unrestricted permanent US work authorization
