We’re looking for a Associate Director, Software Engineer to:

  • Develop applications in Java to support complex order management systems.
  • Work in high volume, low latency, high throughput system that routes orders to various exchanges and monitoring the orders execution, client credit risks and limits for direct market access, direct strategy access and program flows.
  • Develop customized solutions for Cash Equities business which utilizes high performance NIO and specialized multicasting network programming libraries and proprietary Collection implementation.
  • Develop and maintain scalable, high performance, fault-tolerant application frameworks running in Linux server environment with in-depth knowledge on data structure, network programming, Collection implementation, design patterns, performance tuning.

Your expertise

Education & Experience Requirement
  • This position requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field of study plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, or a related occupation.

Alternate Education & Experience Requirement (if applicable)
  • The employer will alternately accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field of study plus four (4) years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, or a related occupation.

Position requires experience with the following:
  • Working in high performance NIO and specialized multicasting network programming libraries and proprietary Collection implementation in Java
  • Scripting in Linux environment and database SQL queries
  • Practical knowledge on agile methodology, toolchain and development process
  • FIX protocol and connectivity
  • L3 production support in a pressurized environment
