Job description

A fast-paced and growing law firm in Park Slope, Brooklyn, concentrating in Elder Law and Trusts and Estates, seeks a full-time attorney with at least two (2) years of experience in Estate Administration and Guardianship proceedings.

Qualified candidate must be independent, able to manage his/her caseload and supervise paralegals and support staff. The candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills, be detail-oriented and able to multitask and meet deadlines.

Qualified candidate must have experience in all aspects of the probate and administration proceedings, estate and trust accounting, preparation of estate tax returns, estate litigation/motion practice experience a plus, and handling guardianship court matters, as well as have an underlying understanding of general Elder law, drafting, wills, trusts, including special needs trusts.

Ability to travel and Court appearances in different boroughs/counties are required.

Knowledge of HotDocs, Excel needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
