Qualifications

  • Must maintain current licensure/credentialing and remain current on all educational requirements.
  • Must communicate and work well with your fellow employees, patients, customers and other health care professionals.
  • Highly knowledgeable of equipment and product line.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient files.
  • Participate in monthly staff meetings and in-services.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Have detailed knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid And Private Insurances.
  • Must have good telephone skills.
  • Must be detailed oriented and be able to complete all paperwork in accordance with established policies.
  • Must be able to prioritize various tasks.
  • Must be able to make professional presentations to clients, peers and referral sources.
  • Must be able to sit/stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced high energy environment.
  • Must pass background screening through various agencies.
  • Must receive 2 Tuberculosis tests at hire
  • Must have a current, valid Florida Driver’s License.

Responsibilities * The Rehab Technology Supplier is responsible to the Rehab Manager.

  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Understanding of electronics as it pertains to power wheelchairs.
  • Develop Referral Base With Therapists, Physicians And Rehab Facilities.
  • Ability to work with tools necessary to adjust and assemble rehab equipment.
  • Has Current Knowledge Of Medicare, Medicaid, Private Insurances and other funding agencies to make appropriate equipment recommendations commensurate with the clients funding sources.
  • Aware of the cost of purchasing products and discount structures from various manufacturers.
  • Operates to achieve sales goals within established profitable parameters.
  • Has acquired knowledge to operate on adult and geriatric population with minimal to moderate seating needs.
  • Has acquired the skills to work with high level adult and geriatric patients with multidisciplinary issues.
  • Has acquired the skills needed to work with minimal to medium need pediatric clients.
  • Has the skills required to work with high level and multidisciplinary pediatric patients.
  • Checks all paperwork before delivering chair to make sure all measurements are correct, all necessary forms are available, and accessories are included.
  • Consistently records notes in patient charts regarding all conversations and work completed.
  • Other duties as assigned, which may include uncompensated attendance at functions during non-business hours

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
