Brookhaven Academy is looking for a full-time Assistant Teacher to join our team for our Early Preschool Classroom (18months- 2 1/2 years). Prefer an experienced Assistant Teacher, but we are willing to train. We are located in Allen, Texas.

The ideal Assistant Teacher will assist in the Early Preschool Classroom with maintaining a calm and loving environment for the 18 month - 2 1/2 year old. We want an Assistant Teacher who is dedicated, likes to have fun with children, is loving, and a team player. You would also assist in other classrooms, if needed.

Qualification and Requirements:

• Create a fun, loving, and safe environment for each child. Help with their social, emotional, cognitive, creative, physical development, and provide a positive environment.
• Help serve food, change diapers, play with the children, and assist with circle time/art.
• Good people skills. You will deal with students, parents, and other staff.
• Be a team player, flexible, punctual, respectful and have a professional attitude.
• Pass Background Check and will have to have CPR/First Aid/Food Safety Certification

Hours: 9:30am-6:30pm (IMPORTANT)
