Besame is looking for an ASM with exceptional customer skills along with great leadership and who have a passion for the restaurant industry and want to help take our restaurant to the next level. We are a fun, lively restaurant serving up incredible food & wine & craft cocktails.

Reports to: General Manager/Owner

Summary of Position:
Oversee and coordinate daily restaurant procedures and expectations necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation, and compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to liquor laws, health, safety, and labor requirements.
  • Ensure that all company policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs are implemented and followed.
  • Assist the GM in achieving objectives in sales, service, quality, cost control, inventory management, appearance of facility, sanitation, and cleanliness.
  • Coordinate and schedule events, private parties and other revenue producing venues.
  • Manage, both FOH and BOH staff, in all areas of job performance and development by providing leadership, oversight, and consistent communication.
  • Help us maintain great morale in our positive and productive working environment.
  • Establish effective communication with coworkers to keep them focused and motivated.
  • Ensure that guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
  • Ensure that all food and beverage products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking, and presentation standards.
  • Control cash and other receipts by following and enforcing cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Manage labor as required in conjunction with ongoing business activity while ensuring that all positions are staffed when and as needed and labor cost objectives are met.

Qualifications:

  • Be 21 years of age.
  • Have extensive knowledge of service and food and beverage, generally involving at least three years of restaurant operations and/or assistant management positions.
  • Possess excellent communication (written and verbal) and math skills.
  • Must be Tipp certified

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,280.17 - $63,081.72 per year
