Location: Home site MCI Shirley Medium with travel to NCCI Gardner, Concord, NECC and Shirley

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Nights and weekends as needed
Pay rate: $57,000 annually
The General Population Services Assistant Program Director is responsible for:
  • Supervising the implementation and delivery of program and case management services within the designated sites, services and modalities
  • Ensuring program services are delivered in accordance with evidence- based practices and Spectrum’s best practices
  • Ensuring service elements foster an atmosphere of customer service and excellence in service delivery
  • Ensuring that all program staff is highly trained and proficient in the delivery of service elements.
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC-1) or Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or closely related license in the fields of addiction or mental health required.
  • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in counseling preferred
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a substance abuse, mental health, or other related behavioral health program required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
  • Must display the use of appropriate independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in resolving problems and in emergencies
  • Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse setting with clients, families, staff and regulatory agencies
  • Based on a mandate from Massachusetts Department of Corrections, any Spectrum employee working in a MA DOC facility or pursuant to the MOUD Contract must be fully vaccinated and no exemptions are permitted.
