Position Summary
The Department of Surgery in the School of Medicine at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana is seeking a thoracic surgical oncologist for an academic position at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor. Academic rank and track will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and stature in the field. Responsibilities include clinical care, research, and teaching in thoracic surgical oncology. Clinical activities will be centered at University Medical Center – New Orleans (UMCNO). There are leadership opportunities within the department and also within the clinical partner hospital administration for candidates with leadership and management experience.
