JOB SUMMARY STATEMENT:

The Associate enters orders, schedules work/production, supervises and trains Associates, receives/stores/stocks items, checks dates, tracks and records loss, and does all department tasks as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Promptly, at the start of the shift, the employee will review the work schedule, check the equipment and supplies required to perform the work scheduled, comply with PPE requirements, and otherwise prepare for duties.
  • The Associate enters orders, schedules work/production, supervises and trains Associates, receives/stores/stocks items, checks dates, performs markdowns and does all department tasks as needed.
  • The Associate checks inventory daily, removes out of date items, puts loaded pallets into cooler, culls/stocks/restocks items, maintains displays.
  • The Associate cleans and sanitizes all work surfaces, all tools and equipment, all display cases, and all floors and counters.
  • The Associate tracks and records loss.

ERGONOMIC & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Shift Hours: 8 Job Cycles: Continual Max. Lift/carry: 50 lb. (potatoes)
Stand 55%, Sit 0%, Walk 45% Category IV: Lifting, carrying, P/P up to 55 lb. Max. Pull static: 20 lb.
JOB TASKS:

Task 1. The Associate enters orders, schedules work/production, supervises and trains Associates, checks dates, changes pricing of items going out of code and does all department tasks as needed.
Task 2. The Associate culls/stocks/restocks items continually.
Task 3. The Associate moves loaded pallets from receiving to the cooler.
Task 4. The Associate trims/wraps/seals greens, puts down ice, rearranges produce, wraps melons, and continually maintains displays.

Task 5. The Associate collects and dumps trash.
Task 6. The Associate loads cases from pallet onto U boat or other cart, takes items to displays and loads displays.
Task 7. The Associate cuts or hits cartons to flatten them, stacks them on U boat, pushes U boat to bailer and loads cardboard into the bailer.
Task 8. The Associate cleans and sanitizes all work surfaces, all tools and equipment, all display cases, and all floors and counters.

Task 9. The Associate assigns and carries out numerous records keeping functions.
Task 10. The Associate tracks and records loss.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
  • Must be able to read, write, communicate, and understand in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner and to comply with Company policies and safety regulations.
  • Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
  • Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position.
  • Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
  • Must be able to perform all job functions safely.
  • Must meet the company performance standards for the job.
