Job is part time (less than 29 hours/ week). Primarily looking for someone with prior golf and sales experience. Job comes with golf privileges (does not have any other benefits). Below are the basic scope of duties to be performed.

1. Perform all tasks assigned in Pro Shop Staff Attendant position as follows: Provide support to the Pro Shop Manager in all aspects of the Golf Shop operation. Specific duties include, but are not limited to: open and close shop, administrative duties involved with scheduling and managing golf reservations, utilization of club point of sale (POS) system, monitoring daily play activities, communicating with other staff members on the golf operation team, assistance with merchandise operations, and upkeep of all facilities and club assets.

2. Assist in the administration of the daily usage of the golf course, golf carts, driving range and pro shop, including, but not be limited to: providing starter services; keeping the pro shop, knowledge of merchandise, operation of driving range and golf course, recognition the operations are open every day of the week, including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays (excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas day only); establishing and maintaining hours of operation for the golf course, perform tasks issued by the Pro Shop Manager and in accordance with the Golf Course Operations Policy then in effect; insuring proper charging of greens fees and season privileges fees; supervising rental and use of golf carts; and supervising competent personnel, starters, rangers or marshals, cart staff etc., in the performance of their duties.

3. Assist and support marketing efforts as directed by the Pro Shop Manager.

4. Assist the supervision of staff in the maintenance of complete and detailed records of all activity in and about the golf course, pro shop and driving range, including, but not limited to: records regarding the number of golfers using the course and the classification thereof (e.g., member, nonmember), the greens fees collected and remitted, the gross rental revenues received from powered golf carts of all kinds and business transactions, and deliver to a person or place designated by the Pro Shop Manager all cash, receipts and reports daily.

5. Assist the Pro Shop Manager with inventory duties as required.

6. Detect dress code and rules violations and report to The Pro Shop Manager.

7. Coordinate, under the direction of the Pro Shop Manager, arrangements of tournaments and implement games or formats.

8. Assist in the staging of golf carts with cart staff as needed. Have a working knowledge of the operation of the handicap system (GHIN) at such times and to the extent required by the Pro Shop Manager.
