POSITION SUMMARY
Under close supervision, the Cement Operator will learn basic safety, operations, and repair procedures on Product Service Line equipment, utilizing the mentor program and on job training to include but not limited to: Performing pre-job and post-job equipment inspections, performing preventative maintenance procedures, and maintaining support equipment (e.g. pumps and treating lines). The Cement Operator 1 assists in the clean-up, repair, and preparation for a job, and may be asked to assist during the rigging up and down of service line equipment at the well site. Skills are typically acquired by completion of the competency requirements.

Key Accountabilities

• Under close supervision completes the preparation of cement pumping equipment for the well site.
• Under close supervision responsible for the safe operation of bulk and pump equipment, rig-up and rig down of high and low-pressure operations during the delivery of services, in accordance with the customer's design and KPIs.
• Will be required to drive company light-duty and commercial vehicles.
• Complete with Supervisor equipment function checks in preparation for the job.
• Attends pre- and post-job safety meetings to identify job hazards and risks.
• Responsible to keep the equipment clean when returned to facilities.
• Ensures that a high level of efficiency and readiness is achieved by the department regarding equipment operating.
• Performs work on his/her own as well as aids other employees as directed.
• Report unsafe acts, conditions or hazards immediately
• Performs and assumes other duties and responsibilities as may be required by immediate supervisor.
• Perform all duties in compliance with customer and company policies and procedures and applicable regulations.
• Actively participates in safety meetings to identify and address risks and hazards.
• Utilizes the Competency Development Process to Enhance Performance.
• Required to complete a OSHA respirator fit test.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of and Compliance with DOT rules and regulations.
• Knowledge of company policies, HSE standards and departmental guidelines.
• Skills to drive Commercial A Vehicles
• Knowledge of Lifting, Hoist, Slings
• Ability to perform Tractors and Bulk equipment function checks in preparation for the job.
• Knowledge of Bulk Equipment, rigging up and rigging down high pressure and low-pressure equipment with Supervision.
• Ability to follow the Journey Management Process.
• Ability to read, write and speak English to the extent that they can understand verbal and written instructions as well as give verbal and written instructions in English
• Ability to use simple mathematical calculations using whole numbers, fractions and decimals (addition, subtraction, division and multiplication) to make job-related calculations.
• Basic Computer skills
• Ability to understand and speak English at a level of proficiency allowing employee to issue, received and respond to both safety and operations related directions in English.

Minimum Required Education

• H.S. Diploma - Preferred, or
• G.E.D. - Preferred

Minimum Required Work Experience

• Less than 2 years - Required

Licenses and Certifications

• Valid Driver's License - Required, and
• Commercial Driver's License - Required, and
• HAZMAT Endorsement - Preferred
