RCN Capital, LLC is a national, direct private lender providing time-sensitive, bridge financing to real estate investors to fund the purchase of non-owner occupied residential and commercial properties, provide bridge loans, and provide real estate-backed lines of credit. Elite Commercial Servicing (ECS) is the loan servicing function within RCN Capital and is focused on providing excellent service and support to the borrowers in our network.

We're excited to announce that ECS is looking for an Assistant Manager for the Loan Servicing team to provide guidance in process management, training and mentorship to new and existing team members, resolving escalated issues, and tracking and reporting on department data for RCN leadership. This role will allow you to have a large impact on the Loan Servicing team by using your expertise and leadership skills to provide daily, operational oversight and quality assurance to the Loan Servicing team including developing standard operating procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess management experience as well as experience in mortgage servicing, including collections and defaults.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the Loan Servicing Department team in carrying out loan servicing functions, including borrower inquiries and escalations both written and verbal.
  • Manage daily operations for Loan Servicing staff including managing performance, timecards, time tracking, scheduling, and additional items.
  • Proactively develop training, mentorship, and coaching opportunities to improve the skill of new and existing Loan Servicing team members, including developing cross-training processes.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure that all policies and procedures are being followed as outlined.
  • Oversee and manage workflow and priorities and communicate any changes in focus to the team.
  • Assist with policy and procedure updates and development.
  • Track all loan-specific issues and report progress and resolution in a defined cadence and structure.
  • Work with both internal and external clients to promote positive relationships.
  • Additional tasks and projects as assigned.
