Summary: This role will support the Distribution Center Manager for the designated location in order to comply with all process and procedures and maintain the DC operational. In addition, will provide customer service to walk in customers.

Essential Responsibilities:

· Perform managerial duties in the absence of the Distribution Center Manager

· Maintain a safe and functional workplace – clean and organize areas

· Quote, receive, and enter customer orders into ERP system

· Release and ship customer orders via truck and common carrier

· Calling in truck and common carriers for pick ups

· Checking orders to ensure prepaid or prepaid/add

· Add freight costs to customer orders

· Tracking shipments via common carrier

· Receive inbound replenishment inventory

· Coordinate, release and ship vessel orders via truck

· Run daily order report every 2 hours

· Log in employee time sheet daily

· Receive and respond to e-mails

· Receive and respond to internal and external customer calls

· Scan completed delivery notes to customer service

· File all completed delivery notes by month and year

· Tint items needed for orders

· Maintain inventory control via the ERP system

· Maintain tint machine

· Keeping track of stock on tint bases

· Keeping track of stock on tint colorants

· Supervision of Hempel workers at warehouse

· Follow 5S functionality

· Perform physical inventories as required.

Non-Essential Responsibilities:

· Keeping track of and ordering warehouse supplies (check monthly)

· Keeping track of and ordering office supplies (check monthly)

· Keeping track of permits needed and renewed (check monthly)

· Completing all inventory counts and reconciliations during inventory time

Computer Skills:

· Basic computer knowledge

· MS Office

Education/Qualifications:

· High School or equivalent

· Forklift Certified

· Warehouse experience
