Oakdale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking a dynamic Assistant Director of Nursing for our skilled nursing facility who will embrace our mission, vision, and values. Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing, this position is required to assist the DON in directing and providing day-to-day resident services to ensure that the highest quality care for residents is always given.

This position also requires providing service to one or more age populations including the developmentally disabled, adult and geriatric population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.

The Assistant Director of Nursing will assist with determining annual goals and objectives for ONRC that are compatible with the intent of the Mission and Strategic Plan, as well as assist with developing and managing a cohesive nursing team by leading, motivating and supporting staff in daily operation to ensure delivery of care for the Skilled Nursing Facility. The Assistant Director of Nursing must demonstrate the ability to effectively resolve problems in conjunction with managers, concerning such items as staffing, utilization of Care Center facilities and services, and issues related to equipment and supplies.

Accountabilities for the position include monitoring the financial budget for ONRC, assisting in ensuring that the professional and regulatory standards are met, assures quality of care, and maintains current knowledge of key regulatory and legal requirements for the Care Center.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Graduate from an accredited RN program
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing desirable
  • At least one year of experience in a long-term care facility
  • Current California Registered Nurses license
  • Current BLS certification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
