Assistant Controller:
Our client, Bortek Industries, Inc., has a rewarding career opportunity for an onsite Assistant Controller in the Mechanicsburg, PA area! This full-time position will be responsible for assisting the Controller with cash management, financial reporting, month-end close activities, budgeting and forecasting and oversight of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable specialists. The Assistant Controller will work closely with the Controller, COO, and other Department Managers.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining the integrity of the general ledger system for all Bortek entities
• Preparing reports and providing timely information for decision making
• Performing month-end close activities for all Bortek entities
• Preparing monthly financial statements/reports (along with variance analysis) for the Controller and COO
• Preparing and updating daily/weekly/monthly cash reports
• Analyzing data, trends and margins to optimize financial performance
• Assisting with the annual budget process
• Oversee the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable specialists and assist with performance evaluations
• Other special projects as directed by the Controller

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
• Minimum of 3-5+ years in a progressive accounting role, with related experience
• CPA preferred but not required
