POSITION SUMMARY:

The University of Wisconsin – River Falls seeks a lead assistant coach to assist the Head Coach in the management and administration of all aspects of a competitive NCAA Division III program.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in design, implementation, and execution of defensive strategy
• Perform video analysis and scouting of opponents
• Manage program’s social media accounts
• Plan travel and meals
• Assist with recruiting efforts
• Identify quality student athletes
• Attend recruiting events and evaluate prospective student athletes throughout the year
• Assist with daily practice planning
• Assist with game decisions and providing player feedback/evaluation
• Assist with program camps and clinics
• Assist with establishing and maintaining a positive and empowering environment for student athletes to excel
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of current NCAA women’s lacrosse rules
• Bachelors degree
• Minimum 2 years of coaching experience at the high school or college level
• Experience playing or coaching (coaching preferred) at Division I, II, or III level
• Ability to be flexible with work schedule
• Knowledge of Hudl preferred
