Schedule: 3rd-10:30pm-6:50am Pay: $15.50 per hour to start Shift Premiums (2nd & 3rd Shift Only): $0.50 per hour Scheduled Raises: 60 days | 6 months | Annually Benefits: Available on the 1st of the month after 60 days of employment Direct Hire | Weekly Pay on Thursday | Clean & Safe | Advancement Opportunities NO Experience Required! Pre-Employment Requirements: Complete I-9 w/ acceptable documents, consent to a criminal background check, complete lab tested urinalysis drug screen, complete physical evaluation, including 50-pound lift test and complete the new hire on-boarding paperwork online. Avancez contracts & pays third party for all screening.

This is what our team is doing, as we focus on creating complex modular assembly solutions, and we manage integrated global supply chain needs for our customers. Avancez Fort Wayne is a Tier-1 automotive supplier to our customer, General Motors Fort Wayne Assembly Plant. We are located just across the street from GM.

At our first Fort Wayne location that opened in 2012, we provide tire and wheel assembly solutions for GM. We consistently strive to provide high quality service to our customer while protecting them from quality issues and maintaining nearly 100% on time delivery performance. Primary Job Responsibilities/Duties: All positions in the production facilities will require candidates being able to perform the following tasks repetitively, if needed, during scheduled shift and is not an exhaustive list. You will be expected to perform all additional tasks assigned by management or immediate supervisor.

  • Assembling and or sequencing components at rate to meet customer quality and delivery expectations. • Maintaining safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. • Able to lift up-to 50lbs with assistance. • Able to stand 8 – 10 hours per day.
  • Cross-training & job rotation is vital to our operations & is required of all team members (Rotation about every 2.5 hours). • Ability to work extra hours or shifts based upon customer production requirements. • Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment. • Use of the following equipment: Torque Gun Electric Drill Industrial Hot Glue Gun Electric Screwdrivers Qualifications and Experience Desired: • High School Diploma/GED preferred • Must pass all Avancez pre-employment requirements.
  • Good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity. • Must be able to speak and read English fluently. • Prior experience in a quality focused assembly environment preferred. • Be able to work weekends when volunteered for or required; • Be highly motivated and have an interest in manufacturing; • Have a history of safe work practices; • Be a team player, who is flexible and easily adapts to change.
