A locally owned manufacturer is looking for some assembly operators.

Summary: Assembles and coordinates the assembly of metal products, partially or completely, working at a bench or on shop floor. Packs completed products and follows written procedures as to size and shape required packing material, and appropriate palletizing process by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Use labor reporting bar code system.
• Train in the use of pallet jacks or forklift (as required).
• Train in the use of required documentation.
• Train in the use of required hand tools to perform function.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Position parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or by following blueprints or reading instructions.
• Other duties may be assigned.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to vibration or risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Hours:

6am-4:30 pm (30 minute lunch, 2 -15 minute breaks); Monday-Thursday; sometimes OT on Friday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
