Craft Massachusetts has a great career opportunity available as an ASM / Sales Supervisor in downtown Boston.
This management position oversees the development of the sales team while successfully growing the sales and distribution of the product portfolio.
- Supervise and direct assigned Sales Representatives to ensure the greatest possible sales and distribution of products, and maintain morale and motivation
- Develop relationships with all National/Regional buyers and district managers through time spent at the individual premise level
- Maintain outstanding supplier relationships for all specialty brands in the territory
- Develop rapport with assigned customer base and promote the good will of the Company
- Implement and execute the marketing strategies of the Company
- Collaborate with core sales team to maximize synergies and market share
- Ensure market share growth in designated segments within assigned sales reps’ territories
- Execute monthly goals as related to business activities
- Research and secure all special event opportunities within assigned area
- Provide route coverage where necessary
- Assist where necessary with promotions in accounts
- Recruitment, selection, and training of the sales force to include ride-alongs
- Demonstrate a high-level of aptitude for beer industry and beer product knowledge, as well as strict observance and compliance to all laws and regulations governing the sale of alcoholic beverages
- Manage inventory for the territory to ensure all product is sold within its shelf life and administered in a way that grows total company business
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business, marketing, sales or management
- 3-4 years previous experience in sales beer industry
- 2 or more years previous management experience
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Certified Beer Server preferred
- Proficient computer and technology skills
- Valid and clean driver's license with active auto insurance
- Proven leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills

PHYSICAL:
Ability to lift the equivalent of 2 cases of beer at once or more
Ability to bump a 165lb keg down a flight of stairs using a two handed truck
Ability to stoop, kneel, reach, lift as needed to store or remove product from accounts
