Job description
We’re hiring MEDICAL ASSISTANTS or other professionals in the medical field to provide monthly DNA cheek swab testing to our clients at the Shelby Co Child Support Office for their pending child support cases. PLEASE NOTE - This is as needed
Having COVID testing experience/nasal swab is a plus. Applicants should have great customer service skills and work well in a team environment, yet be able to work independently. Must be reliable, professional and have a great attitude.
- LOCATION: Memphis TN
- RECURRING SCHEDULE: As needed shifts that are usually Monday-Friday
All staff will receive complete online training/ over the phone follow up training. All supplies including gloves, alcohol wipes, testing kits, camera, film, ink pad will also be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Perform cheek swab specimen collections
- Fill out handwritten Chain of Custody form
- Ensure specimens are properly and accurately labeled for processing at the lab.
- Delivery samples to FedEx (prepaid labels provided)
