Job description
Black Bear Bread Co. is seeking enthusiastic bread bakers.
Previous experience is preferred, but not required. We love to teach, and other skills apply to pastry production- our staff consists of artists of many kinds, former teachers and nurses, career chefs, and former novice bakers.
Responsibilities include daily baking, shaping, and mixing of multiple naturally leavened doughs, preparation of pastry and bagel dough, and caring for starters. Must be willing and able to follow Black Bear’s carefully crafted recipes while working closely with other team members.
Full and part-time positions are available. Full health, vision, and dental plans offered. This position is an hourly wage and begins at 3 a.m. every day.
Compensation based on experience and resume.
