Do you dig archaeology as much as we do? We have the opportunity you’ve been looking for!

We’re recruiting skilled archaeologist to join our rapidly growing team. We’re looking for people with ambition, who are passionate about the past, likes being part of a team.

You’ll be joining at an exciting time for us – we’ve recently acquired new offices in Bristol, Chester, Stansted in addition to our offices in Northampton, Basingstoke and London. We don’t want to brag too much, but this means we’re now one of the biggest archaeological units in the UK.

With that comes a wealth of opportunity and we’re breaking new ground on a number of exciting digs including:

  • The proposed A428 Black Cat to Carton Gibbet improvements, which comprises of over 60 hectares of archaeological excavation, split across 35 sites. We will be dissecting the dense Iron Age and Roman farming landscape which includes part of a possible villa estate, along with Early Medieval settlement near Wintringham, and a Medieval windmill south of Papworth.
  • Collingtree – this project comprises a 3 hectare open area excavation in Northamptonshire, investigating a rural springhead site predominantly dating to the Roman period, with some evidence of earlier prehistoric activity.
