Aquatic Facility Assistant Managers
Facilities: Ideal Beach, McNaughton Spray Park, Pierre Moran Pool
Shifts and Pay
- Varied shifts, including holidays and weekends
- The season runs from the end of May to the middle of August
- Starting at $14 per hour.
Experience
Ideal Beach & Pierre Moran Managers
- 3 seasons of American Red Cross lifeguarding experience preferred
- Strong communication, public relations, and leadership skills required
- 1 season of swimming pool or other management
McNaughton Spray Park Managers
- Management experience preferred
- Strong communication, public relations, and leadership skills required
- Experience working with and managing personnel preferred
Job Duties
- Supervise the operation of the facility
- Supervise cashiers and lifeguards/attendants while on duty
- Conduct in-service training
- Manage and balance money from admissions and concessions daily
- Supervise and assist in routine daily maintenance, i.e. sweeping, picking up trash, cleaning restrooms, etc.
- Must follow and enforce all city policies, facility policies, and rules at all times
- Must be able to verbally communicate with both the public and staff effectively
Certifications
Ideal Beach & Pierre Moran Managers
- Current Red Cross Lifeguarding or Waterfront Lifeguarding
- CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer
- First Aid
- Oxygen Administration is preferred but not required
McNaughton Spray Park Managers
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications preferred
A background check and pre-employment drug test are required.
