Job description

Are you ready to take your engineering skills to the next level? We're looking for a rock-star Applications Engineer to join our team and help us revolutionize the industry!

As our Applications Engineer, you'll be the ultimate problem solver for our customers, providing engineering support throughout the sales process. You'll work closely with our Application Engineering group to support one of our three industry sales teams, and you'll have the opportunity to cross-train and collaborate with our other industrial teams.

In this role, you'll need to be an expert in product knowledge and applications, and you'll need to be able to develop custom solutions for our clients on the fly. You'll be responsible for facilitating equipment sales, determining technical specifications, and directing the preparation of bid proposal packages. You'll also travel to customer sites to perform plant audits, system design, and technical review meetings, and you'll lead troubleshooting efforts for resolving customer complaints and warranty issues.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about providing the highest level of customer service and building strong relationships with our clients. You'll be working alongside a talented team of Applications Engineers and sales professionals on a wide variety of exciting projects, from concept validation to startup and maintenance of equipment.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a BS in Engineering (preference in Chemical or Mechanical), excellent communication skills, and a can-do attitude. You'll need to be highly organized and able to manage multiple projects at once, and you'll need to be comfortable leading technical discussions with customers and colleagues alike.

Experience in process engineering, food and beverage or industrial processing applications, understanding of PLC logic, PID loop tuning and process data analysis, and working knowledge of AutoCAD or other similar 2D drawing programs is a big plus. And if you're familiar with InforCRM or similar customer relationship management (CRM) software, even better!

In addition to your base compensation, we offer a wide range of benefits, including continuing education/tuition reimbursement, vacation and personal time off, paid holidays, health, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401k with company match.

So if you're ready to join a team of awesome engineers who are changing the game, we want to hear from you!
