Goldbelt Hawk designs develop and implement comprehensive solutions for problem spaces including computer security, scalable architectures, advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and network/data center operations. Specializing in incident response at the local and enterprise-wide levels as well as forensic analysis, our personnel deliver threat analysis and reporting while implementing solutions based on mature planning and development practices.

Summary:

Goldbelt Hawk has an immediate need for Application and Database Support and is seeking to fill the position of Applications Specialist V for The Department of the Interior (DOI) Indian Affairs (IA) in Albuquerque, NM. The Applications Specialist V will be responsible to ensure that the tasks required of the performance-based statement of work (PBSOW) are complete and deliverables are executed on time, and to the satisfaction of the Task Lead, Project Manager, and government customer. OIMT supports numerous administrative and business-related applications for DOI/IA. Applications and database support include programming, reports, database maintenance, MS SharePoint development support, workstation connectivity, user support, end-user training, and user account administration.

Essential Job Functions:

• Responsible for working to develop, design, and own technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
• Provide administration, application development, maintenance, and technical support by using good practice web programming techniques to configure robust solutions to the client utilizing the ServiceNow platform.
• Successfully plan, execute, monitor, control, and close all technical tasks related to configuration and implementation of all aspects of the ServiceNow platform.
• Provide software coding and customization including, but not limited to screen tailoring, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, integration, scripting, third party software integrations, and custom application development
• Update and maintain a comprehensive testing protocol for ServiceNow instance upgrades to certify all applications for use after the upgrade completes.
• Coordinate and solve complex technical data and transformation issues.
• Obtain and analyze/interpret business requirements to purpose sustainable solutions in ServiceNow.
• Answer “how-to” technical and application configuration questions.
• Develop, maintain, and execute reports to ensure system operation meets performance targets.
• Create and maintain system design and operations documentation.

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

• Has working knowledge of other programming/scripting languages such as ServiceNow, Java, PHP, and Python.
• Knows principles and techniques of computer programming, testing, debugging, implementation, and documentation.
• Proficient with financial processes analysis and modification.
• Self-starter who can work with a large and diverse team of business, management, and IT individuals.
• Demonstrated experience as a member of a large project team with strong analysis and design skills.
• Must be experienced with Enterprise Level Application Development spanning two or more business areas.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication in interpersonal exchanges.
• Exceptional organization, planning, and scheduling skills with strong analytical skills; business intuition, and business acumen.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a complex environment while balancing multiple competing priorities.

Minimum Qualification:

• Associate degree or combination of education and experience.
• At least five (5) years of experience as a programmer analyst and a minimum of 2 years of experience in visual basic .NET and C#.
