Application Senior Testing Lead
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role are to:
Responsible for creating and executing Application Functional, Performance, and Platform Integration test Strategy;- Responsible for leading all test cycles and related documentation in alignment with Bayer software quality verification and validation guidelines;
- Responsible for generating necessary technical documentation of the software release in accordance to Bayer quality and regulatory guidelines;
- Plan and co ordinate integration and performance test environment requirements, and secure commitments for their provision
- Assess release test scope, and possible regression areas. • Ensure that Release activities executed by the test teams are completed within the timescales set;
- Coordinate Release test effort estimates for management review and approval;
- Attend Release planning meetings to agree the size and scope of each Release, ensuring that sufficient resource is available to support the testing;
- Regularly produce accurate and comprehensive reports and metrics on testing progress, defects, issues and remedial actions for Release testing;
- Own the timely resolution of issues found during the testing cycle;
- Ensure that all code promoted as part of a Release has been fully tested, or where this is not possible, a full risk assessment is prepared and agreed upon by the stakeholders;
- Continually assess opportunities to improve test effectiveness and efficiency of the test cycles;
- Demonstrate independent analysis and synthesis of solutions for problems, exhibiting creativity, foresight, innovation, and judgment in anticipating and solving these problems;
- Work in accordance with the Bayer Quality Management System and processes for regulated software medical devices.

Required qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field;- Experience in Software Project or Release management experience;
- Strong background in automated and performance testing tools and technologies;
- Experience in CI/CD Pipeline process and tools;
- Strong background in creating and operationalizing software test strategies and plans;
- A strong technical background, with the ability to quickly understand new technologies;
- Experience in working across multiple international locations and cross functional teams;
- Knowledge of common software technologies: SQL, XML, XSLT, source control.
- Familiarity with Linux
Preferred Qualifications:
5 years of experience in leading software testing and release;- Test automation frameworks such as JUnit;
- Scripting languages bash, Python;
- Experience in Cloud Platform (GCP, Azure, AWS);
- Exposure to build systems and other continuous integration tools, such as Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, GitLab CICD;
- Experience working in the healthcare industry or developing SaaS products;
- Experience in Radiology, Imaging IT, or Healthcare IT domain knowledge and healthcare system (e.g. RIS, PACS, EMR, Dictation) integration using standards such as DICOM, FHIR, and HL7 v2 will be a huge plus. PowerPoint).
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $85,300.00 to $128,000.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
