Position Description

The Scheduling Application Analyst will be a proactive individual that will support and continually improve our scheduling platforms across multiple service lines. The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, administering and supporting scheduling applications, gathering requirements and feedback, designing scalable best practice solutions, and managing the product road maps. The scheduling platform user experience is critical to our operations as it is a significant piece of the overall patient care delivery model. The Scheduling Application Analyst will be responsible for all aspects of user management including support tickets, training, and designing solutions with user satisfaction as a priority. The Scheduling Application Analyst should be comfortable liaising with stakeholders at all levels, translating technical information into business terms, and clearly explaining design options and their potential impact.

Essential Duties and responsibilities

  • Act as primary point of contact and liaison with platform users to ensure overall application functionality, configuration, and operational performance meets operational needs
  • Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult projects or operational problems
  • Act as primary contact for all scheduling production environments
  • General Application Support
  • Manage and address user support tickets
  • Monitor and improve user adoption
  • Coordinate with training department to optimize new user and ongoing user training
  • Work with integrated applications to ensure data flow aligns with business requirements
  • Maintain technical and functional documentation for the scheduling platform(s)
  • Provide input to effectively prioritize scheduling projects, enhancements or operational upgrades within the IT Governance process
  • Utilize knowledge of standard change management processes
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS, or other related field or 5+ years of scheduling and application support experience
  • 2+ years’ of application support experience
  • 2+years’ of scheduling experience
  • Advanced knowledge of workforce management and associated software
  • Must be articulate, have clear analytical approach to problem solving, and good decision making abilities
  • Have good analytical and numeric skills
  • A proactive attitude to platform enhancements
  • Experience designing scalable, best practice solutions
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • Ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Experience in change management and governance
  • Ability to train end users and key stakeholders
  • Experience and ability to create technical documentation

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Master’s degree
  • Strong Salesforce product knowledge; CLICK or Field Service Lighting application preferred
  • Demonstrates continued personal/professional development
  • Experience with ambulatory healthcare scheduling platform; Carelink preferred
