Accounts Payable and Payroll Specialist
We are searching for an AP/Payroll Specialist to provide support for our Finance and Accounting department.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Calculate and process payroll for 100+ employees on a bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly basis.
- Assemble, review and verify invoices and check requests.
- Maintain accurate records for end-of-month close, invoicing, and journal entries.
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.
- Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to management.
- Effectively communicate to management and colleagues confidentially and professionally.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in accounting or another business-related field.
- Minimum 1 year of Payroll and AP experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office
- Working Knowledge with Paychex Flex is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
