Job description
Gracelynn Farms is a 60 acre miniature horse and cattle farm. Nathan and Brandy along with their 4 year old child live on the property and are in need of someone to work with the animals. The animals we raise and breed are considered pets and not for meat processing or consumption. Halter training and taming for the farrier are two main tasks we are looking for with the training. Currently, 6 of the mini horses are around 6 months old and all 7 of our miniature highland cattle are under 9 months old. Two of the miniature cattle are 2 months old.
There is currently a part time employee that handles daily feeding and handling of the horses and cattle that will continue that responsibility.
We are in the process of designing a new barn and will be expanding later in the year.
The job duties will include everything involved with the upkeep of the barn and animals, but not limited too:
- social training
- halter training
- washing and cleaning of animals
- assistance with animals during farrier appointments
These are just some of the items needed immediately and could be added to as the position is accepted.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
