Position Summary

As our next Demand Planning Analyst, you will work in a high profile, interdepartmental communication area. You will have demonstrated proficiency of statistical analysis, historical data analysis, communication, and leadership. In addition, you will lead projects and must be highly organized and be able to analyze information quickly and objectively. You must be able to multi-task and perform cross-functional duties successfully and ensure the link to supply chain is maintained in a manner that is constant with Corbion’s service level expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and present a monthly demand forecast utilizing statistical forecast models, historical sales, customer orders, and sales inputs, assumptions, drivers, and risks
• Identify and communicate risks and opportunities, and collaborate with Supply Planning, Finance, and Leadership
• Manage forecast models for each item/warehouse combination to achieve the highest statistical output. Apply error analysis techniques to improve forecast accuracy
• Represent Demand Planning on special projects, supply chain, or ad hoc meetings to provide insights regarding demand and serve as a team Subject Matter Expert when needed.
• Collaborate with Sales and Product Management teams to analyze requirements for upcoming events, promotions, seasonal volumes, and legislation changes. Lead monthly cross-functional collaborative customer demand reviews with Sales
• Other duties as determined by business needs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree, required. Preferred in Business, Statistics, Supply Chain Management
• Self-motivated and independent thinker
• Exceptional analytical skills and communication skills
• Excellent professional interpersonal skills
• Solid and broad range of technical skills – including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerBI
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams’ interactions on multiple levels of the company
• Experience with statistical demand forecasting software such as OMP, SAP-APO, JDA, etc.

Physical Demands/Work Environment

Work in office environment occasionally noisy and exposure to small spaces. Required to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Constantly access the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of work assigned. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
