Essential Functions:

• Develop and facilitate specific outreach activities on a monthly basis
• Conduct member recruitment activities in the community as outlined in scope of work within the AmeriCorps Goodwill GoodWorks! Program grant
• Provide additional recruitment outreach and services to surrounding communities including education institutions and other nonprofit organizations
• Develop and maintain partnerships and collaborations with university departments and other local nonprofit leaders
• Develop and maintain social media presence in coordination with Volunteer Florida
• Create social media marketing campaigns and strategies, including budget planning, content ideation, and implementation schedules (i.e., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube)
• Generate new applications for AmeriCorps service from the host site and surrounding communities
• Submit regular reports aligned with contract deliverables (monthly or quarterly) and end of year report
• Complete outreach and recruitment activities aligned with contract deliverables (i.e., AmeriCorps members, volunteers, program participants)
• Knowledgeable and able to enter data in all program information tracking systems
• Maintains communication and demonstrates the ability to cooperate with coworkers and supervisors
• Shows initiative in gaining new skills and improving weak areas.
• Demonstrates creativity finding new and better ways of doing things and propose ideas
• Demonstrates leadership skills and provides a good role model in meetings, in the community and in all areas related to Goodwill
• Stays abreast of new resources, training and technology
• Consistently meets deadlines
• Maintain an acceptable attendance and punctuality record.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle. Or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
