Florida ENT & Allergy, a division of ENT & Allergy Associates of Florida, has an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual seeking a full-time Allergy Technician.

Florida E.N.T. & Allergy is a fast-growing medical practice with 13 locations in the Tampa Bay Area. Our current positions are in our Tampa Bay Area locations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an allergy technician who is looking for a full-time position in the Tampa Bay Area, Monday - Friday. We are continually looking for experienced, self-motivated, reliable medical assistants and nurses to become part of our team.

Job Duties:

• Accurately performing and interpreting allergy testing
• Administering allergy shots
• Measuring skin reactions
• Collecting payments for treatment
• Collections of previous outstanding balances
• Schedule appointments for providers including physicians and technicians.
• Answer incoming telephone calls.
• Verification of patient’s insurance eligibility.
• Request referrals from primary care physicians and other duties as requested.
• Must be able to travel

Qualifications and Skill Requirements:

• Experience preferred but not required, willing to train suitable candidate
• Reliability and punctuality a must.
• Must possess excellent organizational skills as well as the ability to multi-task
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team is imperative.
• Must have working knowledge of insurances and referrals.
