Salary $65,000 to $85,000 Plus Commission

We are looking for Avionics Technician who wants to make the jump to repairing high-end European Cars. The Owner and Founder of the company Bob Saladna, still repairs cars to this day, so he understands what it takes to do a job right by providing the latest in OEM diagnostic equipment. We provide advanced diagnostic training.
In fact, he refers to the Technicians as the Most Important Part of the Business.

Job Summary:
  • Inspect all cars for any unmentioned issues thru Digital Inspection App
  • Diagnosis issues using scanners to pull and troubleshoot customer concerns
  • Perform all repairs on customer's cars necessary from mechanical to electrical issues
  • Work week is M-F 8:00am til 6:00 pm
  • Keep work environment clean and safe
  • Communicate vehicle issues with manager
  • Applicant must have professional tool box and tools
  • Manage Shop Area including but not limited to Hiring and Training Technicians.
  • Verify processes are put into place to accurately repair and service customers' vehicles.
  • Act as a liaison between the office manager and technicians to rectify any issues.
  • Create a Clean and Safe Working Shop Environment.
  • Make sure all shop tools and diagnostic equipment are kept in good order and updated.
  • Attend Advanced Diagnostic Training Classes and Instruct Shop Staff.
  • Examine cars based on customer requests and/or concerns.
  • Perform basic maintenance including rotating tires, checking fluid levels, and changing oil.
  • Repair or replace worn parts and systems such as spark plugs, wheel bearings, brake pads, fuel systems, and sensors.
  • Test systems and individual parts to ensure the proper working order and/or to evaluate the degree of damage
  • Identify mechanical and electrical problems with both computerized diagnostic equipment and the naked eye.
  • Determine appropriate repair measures based on research, peer-to-peer examination, and past experience.
  • Perform repairs thoroughly and accurately, taking into account original repair strategy and customer specifications.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction at all times.

Technician Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • European Car Repair Experience is Desired but not Required
  • Advanced Experience With Electronic Systems Diagnostics and Repair
  • EV and Hybrid Certification a Plus but Not Required
  • Good computer skills are required.
  • Certification in a related field from a vocational school is a plus.
  • Strong verbal communication skills (will be expected to relay auto repair information to customers and other mechanics).
  • Detail-oriented and thorough, organized.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Troubleshooting skills.
  • Mechanically and analytically minded.
