Description:

Fabricate, repair, and maintain sophisticated state-of-the-art test and simulation integrated test stands at Hill AFB, Utah. These test stands are for software development and test of operational flight programs within the avionics integration support facility. Must have knowledge and experience in the following areas: using various common and special fabrication tools, (crimpers, strippers, cannon plug pin insertion and extraction tools, hot air and micro miniature soldering techniques), different kinds of wiring and splicing techniques, reading electrical drawings and blueprints, test, and failure analysis of integrated computer systems. Utilize special test hardware to optimize troubleshooting capability and develop work around procedures to permit partial simulation or operation to isolate system failures. Experience in operating interrelated computer systems such as: Video Picture System, Control and Monitoring systems, and performance monitoring system which enables critical data resident within the test stands to be recorded for evaluation and engineering analysis. Must have the ability to determine hardware versus software failures.

• Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

• Must have an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting.

Basic Qualifications:

Candidate must have 5 or more years of experience using Fabrication Tools.

Candidate must be able to read and interpret electrical drawings, diagrams and blueprints.

Desired Skills:

F-16 Avionics Familiarity.

Wire and Electrical Fabrication experience
Test Stand Structural Design and Assembly Familiarization

Security Clearance Statement:

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely:

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
