Looking for Aircraft Avionic Technicians who would like to work in West Palm Beach, Florida in permanent full time plus OT direct hire positions and have all your benefits (medical, dental and vision) 100% paid by the company for employee and family plus 20 days paid days off starting first year and 401K is in the works but not ready to roll out.
Our client, a rapidly expanding private Aviation company, is looking to fill Avionic Technician Positions with candidates experienced working on corporate and/or private jets. Candidates will be working at the Executive General Aviation Airport at Palm Beach International Airport. Candidates must have Airframe license.
Shifts Available:
12pm- 12am Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and every other Saturday.
12pm- 12am Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and every other Saturday.
Job Description:
The Avionics Technician is responsible for knowing, understanding, and accomplishing all required steps associated with compliance of the work scope assigned. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Ensuring all work is accomplished in accordance with the company's (RSQCM), manufacturer’s maintenance manuals, and FAA Regulations.
- Documenting maintenance discrepancies and taking necessary actions to correct the items. Having the knowledge in using Pitot static system test box, IFR 4000 and IFR 6000.
- Ability to read and understand aircraft/system wiring diagrams along with basic troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read, interpret and incorporate engineering prints and wiring diagrams.
- Immediately notifying the Avionics Manager of any problem areas such as parts, materials, workmanship, or airworthiness issues.
- Providing the Avionics Manager with a detailed report of work progression and open items to be included in the shift turnover log.
- Proper tagging of aircraft components, parts, and panels appropriately stored including racks by aircraft.
- Maintaining the work areas, buildings, and equipment which are utilized for aircraft maintenance in a safe, clean, and operative condition.
- Having sufficient hand tools to perform maintenance duties.
- Performing other duties as directed by the Avionics Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Avionics experience and knowledge, preferred, be able to troubleshoot aircraft avionics systems.
- Working knowledge of FAA Regulations
- Good computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe
- Ability to understand and interpret aircraft technical data.
- Effective oral and written communication in English
- Ability to successfully work with others as part of a team to achieve established goals.
- Available to travel, foreign and domestic, if needed
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Valid and current Airframe and Powerplant license. Just Airframe certification is acceptable.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Valid Passport
