The Morrison Center is hiring a generalist social worker (LCSW, LMSW-cc, LCPC, LCPC-c) for their K-12 and Residential locations in Scarborough and New Gloucester. The Morrison Center’s special purpose private school and Residential program provides evidence-based programming to children with intellectual and developmental disabilities and chronic medical needs. We are looking for a licensed clinician to join our multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

· Provides Therapy per the client’s IEP in their school setting.

· Provides Individual, Family and Group Therapy per the client’s treatment plan goals while they live at our Children’s Residential Care Facility.

· Serves as a liaison between the client’s guardians, residential staff, educators, and other natural and professional supports.

· Supports Trauma Based system of care implementation and clinical support to our Behavioral Health Professionals.

· Works collaboratively with BCBA’S on Positive Behavior Support Plans and treatment interventions.

· Develops measurable and appropriate treatment goals for each client; conducts intakes, comprehensive assessments, progress notes, 90 day reviews, discharge summaries, and other documentation required per HiPAA and Mainecare guidelines.

· Supports Crisis Intervention.

· This is a full-time position Monday – Friday with some evening and Weekend hours required for family visits.

The Morrison Center is able to provide conditionally licensed LCPC-c’s and LMSW-cc’s with clinical supervision required by the State of Maine for full licensure.

Qualifications:

Education: Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or psychology.

License: Must hold current licensure/credential as required by the state of Maine to perform professional therapy/counseling services, and within the guidelines to perform Sections 65 HCT, 28 RCS and 97 Residential Treatment services (LCPC, LCPC-c, LCSW, LMSW-cc, LMFT, Psychologist).

Minimum Experience: At least one (1) year of professional, clinical experience providing direct services to children and/or adolescents. Experience developing treatment plans and making DSM diagnoses preferred.

Pay and Benefits: Salary commensurate with licensure and experience.
