Medical Assistant

FULL TIME (M-F *no weekends*)

We are a busy aesthetic practice with a commitment to natural results looking for an energetic, detail oriented medical assistant to join our team. • New + growing medspa with an extensive book of clients seeking a full time medical assistant.

• Brand new, luxury facility located in a high traffic complex in the Houston Heights.
• We prioritize client relationships and client retention and do not offer sales, monthly specials, or fads. We offer a broad menu of services including injectables and laser treatments.

Role Responsibilities:

• A talented medical assistant is critical for a successful day at our practice. This role provides a streamlined client experience, maintains productive client flow, and provides overflow support to the front of house.
• Our ideal candidate loves a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, stays two steps ahead, can multitask, and is not stressed out by a hectic day.
• The typical MA ish: Check clients in/out, take pre treatment photos, obtain consents, review pre/post treatment instructions, prep for procedures (including phlebotomy), and turnover client rooms.
• Provide stellar customer service using professional communication.
• Kindness and empathy is not optional for this role.
• Interest in aesthetic treatments, skincare, and healthy skin is required.

Ideal Applicants:

• Medical assistant certificate or experience is required.
• Aesthetic/Dermatology experience is preferred but not required with prior MA experience.
• Minimum high school education is required.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Self motivated, reliable, trustworthy, with a positive attitude, a strong sense of ethics, and a commitment to kindness.
• Independent worker with a desire to be part of a passionate team and growing business.
