Adult Family Care Home Needed
We are looking for a male or female Adult Foster Care caregiver to provide a safe home and supervision and/or assistance for a 24 year old man with his ADLs and IADLs in the New Bedford/Fall River area. This caregiver would receive a stipend from MassHealth which is non-taxable along with ongoing, monthly support from an RN and a Social Care Manager.
This young man has artistic talents and enjoys spending much of his free time completing Lego projects. He enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, and family barbecues. He is good natured, polite and pleasant to be around. He is able to express his feelings with support, and has been working on developing new relationships. He is motivated to learn and try new things. He attends day programming 5 days a week. In addition to day programming, he has community support funding.
