The Adoptions and Lifesaving Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all adoption activities including the coordination of adoption events, programs, and relationships with organizations, rescue agencies, foster parents and potential adopters while promoting positive outcomes for shelter animals. The position oversees outcomes of shelter animals with a focus on providing a positive experience for both the animals and prospective adopters. The Adoptions and Lifesaving Supervisor leads the adoptions team to meet adoption goals, maximize the number of live animal exits, and leads all of our lifesaving efforts in working with rescue partners, foster parents and adopters. Responsibilities also include: ensuring quality customer service; accurate record keeping and financial receipts related to adoption transactions; transfer of animals in and out of the shelter; and coordination and supervision of volunteers and activities that support the Adoptions Department. The position also promotes Women’s Animal Center (WAC) shelter services to aide in the prevention of animals being surrendered to the shelter and assist in the health and well-being of animals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
