The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for coordination of the health center resident inquiry and admission process. This role also supports the overall admissions goals of the community, this includes touring, general inquiries and the overall admissions process.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Associate degree in marketing, Sociology or related field preferred
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in sales or marketing or customer service, preferably in healthcare
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency
  • Must be reliable, have exemplary follow up, communications skills, and overall professionalism
JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:
  • Coordinates a customer-friendly health center admission process.
  • Monitors and follows-up on all pending long-term care health center admissions.
  • Provides clerical support for the admission process.
  • Ensures all required paperwork is accurately completed, according to Presbyterian Senior Living policies and procedures.
  • Maintains inventory of marketing materials including brochures, applications, admission agreements and associated documents and other information.
  • Manages the inquiry process and ensures adequate back-up when unavailable or with a family.
  • Follows-up on all tours, referrals and inquiries via telephone calls.
  • Obtains specific reasons for lost business and communicates reasons to the Executive Director/Assistant Executive Director/ Administrator/Clinical Liaison/Sales Director.
  • Ensures effective tours, application completion, screening and sales process with potential residents, families and referral sources.
  • Obtains required information to appropriately identify medical or financial issues, which may require additional clarification.
  • Attends and participates in Census Development meetings and sales training.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of admissions strategy.
  • Assists in the maintenance of the supporting database.
  • Assists the community in distribution of customer satisfaction surveys.
