Our New Horizons Program team is committed to providing competent, creative therapeutic services that improve and empower our youth and their families to successfully manage complex mental health, substance use and co-occurring disorder issues. We are seeking qualified applicants to fill a full-time Administrative Support position in the New Horizons Program.

ABOUT THIS ROLE:
Incumbent will maintain reports for mandatory data related to quality improvement and performance measures for the program. Review credible information necessary for billing and provide notifications to staff related to any items that are out of compliance. Responsible for Office Management, covering the reception area, organizing the regular team meetings to include scheduling, and keeping minutes related to the meeting. Assist the Program Manager and Therapist IV’s with any administrative tasks that are needed to include making binders, calling clients to update non-clinical data, ordering office supplies, and assisting staff and clients with administrative needs.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or G.E.D.

PREFERENCES:


  • Two years prior clerical/administrative experience working in an office setting, data processing, and handling multi line telephone.
  • One to two years of experience providing face to face customer support.
  • Minimum of one year experience inputting, editing and maintaining information within a database
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Experience with behavioral health records
  • Familiarity with services for persons with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders
  • Experience with creating spreadsheets and collecting and analyzing data
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
This full-time position, based in our Ridgewood office, requires a 5-day work week from 9am-5pm daily.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must pass TB test
  • Certification in First Aid and Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation, as required
  • Offer of employment is contingent upon the candidate passing a fingerprint based National Criminal History Record Check
  • Child Protective Services Requirements: Effective 1999, mandated by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services 12VA35-105-400 rules and Regulations for Licensing Providers by the Department of Behavioral Health and Development Services related to Criminal Registry Checks, a search of the registry of founded complaints of child abuse and neglected maintained by the Department of Social Services.

ENTRY SALARY RANGE:
$20.43 - $25.86 Hourly/ $39,838.50 - $50,327.00 Annually
