JENNMAR Services is currently seeking an Admin Assistant/Front Desk candidate. This position is located in Grand Junction CO. The Admin Assistant position is a 10 hour shift position. Turnstone Industrial Solutions is a manufacturer of high-strength flexible and semi-rigid polymer ducting, engineered inflatable air-stop barriers, fabric curtains, and ventilation delivery systems to efficiently control and manage safe working conditions in mines and tunnels.

Basic duties of the Office and Materials Support Manager

Managing office operations: You will be responsible for managing daily office operations, such as maintaining office supplies, managing schedules, answering phones, and coordinating appointments.

Managing Purchase Requisitions: You will manage the purchase requisition process for the GJ location, including reviewing and approving purchase requisitions, working with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods, and ensuring compliance with purchasing policies and procedures. Maintain accurate records of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor invoices. Work closely with other departments to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Resolve any issues that may arise during the purchase requisition process. Communicate with vendors regarding order status and any changes to delivery schedules.

Managing Freight Dispatch: You will coordinate and schedule the delivery of goods to various locations. Maintain communication with drivers to ensure on-time delivery of goods. Monitor shipments to ensure they are on schedule and report any delays or issues. Maintain accurate records of shipments and delivery schedules. Work closely with other departments to ensure timely delivery of goods. Resolve any issues that may arise during the delivery process. Communicate with customers regarding shipment status and any changes to delivery schedules. Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies. Continuously improve transportation processes and procedures

Managing databases: You will be responsible for managing and updating databases, including customer information, inventory, and other important data.

Data entry: You assist entering data into the company's computer system (ERP: ROSS) accurately and efficiently.

Data analysis: You may be asked to analyze the data you have entered, create reports, and share insights with your team and the Kentucky office.

Organizing and filing documents: You will be responsible for organizing and filing important company documents, such as invoices, receipts, and contracts.

Managing calendars: You will be responsible for managing the calendars of senior staff members, scheduling meetings and appointments, and ensuring that they are properly notified of upcoming events.

Coordinating events: You may be asked to assist in the planning and execution of company events, such as conferences, workshops, and social events.

Managing correspondence: You will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, such as emails, letters, and memos.

Providing administrative support: You will provide administrative support to the entire team, such as making travel arrangements, booking hotels, and coordinating business meetings.

Liaising with other departments: You will be responsible for communicating and coordinating with other departments – most importantly with production - within the company to ensure that everyone is working towards the same goals and objectives.

Compensation of the General Labor Position

  • $19 - $23 per hour DOE
