A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - TIMEKEEPER

As an entry-level Administrative Assistant - Timekeeper in our nonprofit office, it is essential that you warmly and courteously greet every visitor and answer calls in a professional manner. You also are responsible for running reports in Fedcap CARES, which helps you plan your daily tasks.

In addition, you schedule appointments for program participants and remind them of their orientation and other appointments. You also collect and time stamp documentation, send outreach letters, and keep track of participant attendance for both internal and external activities.

Furthermore, you order office supplies as needed and ensure the reception area is always covered. It is imperative that you represent our nonprofit organization with a positive and professional attitude toward everyone you meet.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - TIMEKEEPER

  • High school diploma OR equivalent education or experience
  • Demonstrated track record for providing exceptional customer service
  • Valid driver's license

Fluency in Arabic, Portuguese, Somali, French, or Lingala would be a plus! Successful candidates will have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
