EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY


AMA is seeking an experienced candidate to fill a full-time, in-person, Training Administrative Assistant position at our fast-paced training center in Hanover, MD office.


Job Description:

Serve as Assistant to Training Division Manager and provide overall support to the Training Division.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Process training certificates and ID cards
  • Pre- and Post-Notifications of courses to state regulators
  • Report completed courses to state regulators
  • Support instructors for all training courses
  • Book and supply inventory
  • Scan class files
  • Take online and phone course registrations
  • Process billings and payments
  • Answer phones
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2-3 years of experience in office environment
  • Microsoft Office skills with working knowledge of Office 365
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; Bilingual Spanish is a plus
  • High degree of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Multitasker in fast-paced setting
  • Reliable and dependable with strong work ethic
  • Outgoing and friendly with attention to customer service
  • Good phone etiquette


Starting Salary: $18-20/hour with benefits
