Northrop Grumman is seeking a Functional Support Administrative Assistant 4 to support the Sector Director of Contracts and the Sector Director of Pricing & Estimating. This role will perform a variety of activities in support of the functional areas of Contracts and Pricing.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Collects and prepares weekly, monthly and quarterly DCMA, Sector, and Corporate reporting
  • Coordinates and facilitates all Sector and Corporate sign-off reviews, and maintains documentation of sign-off reviews
  • Creates and maintains the Sector Contracts SharePoint website with departmental data used across all divisions
  • Plans and supports internal and external business conferences, meetings and employee training
  • Coordinates, facilitates and administers calendars, travel expenses and other administration duties associated with support to the AS Contracts and Pricing & Estimating Directors
  • Coordinates and maintains employee recognition programs across the Sector Contracts and Pricing & Estimating organizations (~400 employees)

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision while exercising good judgment, demonstrating flexibility and agility, prioritizing multiple tasks with competing deadlines, managing schedule conflicts, while providing high quality products and excellent follow through
  • Will be pro-active, self-motivated, well organized and detail oriented
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with all levels of management and their assistants

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 6 years of administrative experience and/or additional education

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree
  • Fluent in the use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in reviewing and editing written material for correct spelling and grammar
  • Experience working with travel, expensing systems (iTrips, Concur or similar)
  • Experience supporting senior level management/customers in a dynamic program environment
  • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance at the DoD Secret level

Salary Range: $58,000 USD - $96,600 USD


Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
